Position: Level 3 Support Specialist (Senior)
Location: Greater Montreal Area (Hybrid – On-Site Client Visits + Remote)
Salary: $80,000–$120,000
Job Type: PermanentOverviewOur client is seeking a polished and experienced Level 3 Support Specialist to provide advanced technical expertise to their business clients. This is a senior, customer-facing role suited for someone who has previously managed or overseen an IT department, understands outsourced IT service delivery, and excels in solving complex infrastructure issues.You will work both remotely and onsite at client locations across Greater Montreal, ensuring environments are stable, secure, and operating at peak performance.Key Responsibilities:- Act as the senior technical escalation point for Level 3 support issues across client environments.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution for complex infrastructure, networking, security, and systems issues.
- Conduct onsite visits to client offices to assess environments, resolve high-priority issues, and build strong relationships.
- Support and optimize Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, etc.).
- Manage and maintain servers, firewalls, networking equipment, and virtualization platforms.
- Proactively monitor systems, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Advise clients on best practices, upgrades, security improvements, and infrastructure planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams (L1/L2) and provide technical mentorship when needed.
- Ensure documentation, ticketing, and follow-up communication is professional and complete.
- Deliver exceptional customer service as a polished, client-facing technical specialist.Requirements:- 5–8+ years of IT support experience, with at least 3 years at the Level 3 or senior support level.
- Experience managing or leading an IT department or supporting clients in a managed services / outsourcing / MSP environment.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration, Windows Server environments, networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs), IT security fundamentals, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), backup & disaster recovery technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—polished, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work independently, handle escalations, and prioritize in a fast-paced client-service environment.
