This is an exciting opportunity for a designated payroll professional with a strong background in full cycle payroll.The successful candidate will have experience with end-to-end payroll and have strong expertise on payroll legislation and regulations.Work Arrangement:
Hybrid in Mississauga (2 days/week in office with occasional travel other cities in the GTA)What Our Client Has to Offer:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Managing and processing payroll for salaried and hourly employees
  • Main point of contact for employees who have questions related to payroll
  • Preparing various payroll remittances, completing year-end tasks and reporting
  • Onboard new employees into the payroll system
  • Administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, life, disability, retirement, and statutory benefits
  • Support internal and external audits replated to payroll and benefits
  • Ensure full compliance with CRA regulations and monitor any legislative changes
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years experience of full cycle payroll experience is required
  • PLP/CPM designation REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Excellent understanding of payroll legislation and CRA regulations
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • Experience using DayForce would be an asset
  • High level or organization and detail orientation
