  • Subject Matter Expert for mission critical Salesforce application and related system development,
  • Under general direction, responsible for Salesforce application and related systems development. Lead and set direction for Salesforce usage and implementation within TRADER and subsidiary businesses.
Responsibilities for this role include:
  • Responsible for the overall structure and design of Motoinsight's Salesforce platform
  • Provide architectural leadership to the company's Salesforce platform and ensure that best practices are both created and then followed.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Salesforce developers to ensure requirements are met. Document business requirements, and test solutions for different initiatives.
  • Liaison with the Tier 1, Tier 3, Tireless, and Unhaggle teams to incorporate these products into Salesforce and maintain cross-departmental communication.
  • Design, define and develop customer features and product integration on the Salesforce architecture.
  • Streamline workflow and processes in Salesforce, including ensuring proper sales hygiene with accounts and operation management, etc.
  • Evaluate the connection of internal tools to ensure efficiencies across departments.
  • Consult with senior management team, and their teams, to understand their analytics needs.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to be included in senior management reporting presentation decks.
  • Conduct customer analytics with sales data and assist DSM teams with customer presentations.
  • Assist the DSM Managers with retention reports and ad hoc reporting.
  • Aid Sales and Marketing in establishing connections between any Marketing platforms and Salesforce, while also ensuring substantial KPIs are set up.
  • Support Product Marketing with trend analytics using Redash queries and enabling further set ups within Salesforce.
  • Support Finance with churn and retention analysis, and any other analytics as required and can be supported with available capacity.
  • Understand Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Troubleshoot workflows, approval cycles, email campaigns or auto-responders.
  • Help with SSO, two-factor authentication, and certificate problems.
  • Help users develop or fine-tune reports so they yield meaningful metrics.
  • Expand sharing rules and access privileges so records can be properly viewed and manipulated.
  • Overall, the approximate split of work is expected to be in the range of 50% Salesforce development related and 50% Analytical work.
Job requirements:
  • Job Requirements (required (R), preferred (P) or asset (A))
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (R)
  • Proven work experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role (R)
  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification (R)
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems (R)
  • Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration. (P)
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases (P)
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities (R)
  • Familiarized with Zuora CPQ (A)
