As a Quality Assurance Inspector, your daily tasks will be crucial to the success of the production line. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed quality checks and inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.
- Diligently monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other food safety protocols.
- Accurately documenting inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards.
- Identifying, isolating, and reporting any non-conforming products or materials to the quality supervisor for corrective action.
- Assisting the packaging team by verifying that all products are correctly labeled, packaged, and coded.
- Collaborating effectively with production and warehouse teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues in real-time.
- Performing routine sanitation checks and environmental swabs to maintain a hygienic production environment.
- Upholding all health and safety regulations within the manufacturing & logistics facility to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Participating in training sessions to stay current with evolving quality standards and procedures.
To be considered for this Quality Assurance Inspector position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience working within the food industry is required.
- Previous experience in a quality control or food manufacturing role is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 4-day work week on either the day or afternoon shift.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of a role within a manufacturing & logistics environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
