For skilled technicians, this is a chance to deepen specialized valve knowledge while contributing directly to products that support safe and efficient energy operations worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Choke Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of choke valves used in demanding service conditions. Your expertise will directly impact product reliability, safety, and customer confidence.Choke Valve Assembly & Repair
  • Assemble, disassemble, and repair choke valves and related components according to engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and supports safe, reliable valve performance in field operations.
Testing, Inspection & Troubleshooting
  • Perform functional, pressure, and leak testing using shop testing equipment to verify valve performance.
  • Diagnose wear, damage, or performance issues and recommend corrective actions using established methods and tools.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve assembly and testing processes.
  • Contribute to documentation, inspection reports, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational and customer goals.
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:Education & Experience
  • Proven valve technician experience with choke valves is mandatory.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in valve assembly, servicing, or repair within the oil & gas or industrial equipment sector.
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency with mechanical assembly tools, measuring instruments, and pressure testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with flow control equipment, high-pressure systems, and industry standards is a strong asset.
