Job Title: Electrical Engineer IIILocation: Edmonton or Calgary, ABOur client is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer III, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting project execution and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Description:

Oversee the design of expansion and maintenance capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications.
Manage relationships and contracts with engineering service providers to facilitate project success.
Lead technical reviews of project designs, ensuring safety, constructability, and operational reliability.
Coordinate procurement activities by reviewing vendor quotations, evaluating bids, and collaborating with supply chain teams.
Provide technical support throughout all project phases, including development, construction, and commissioning.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in engineering system design and commissioning within the Oil and Gas industry.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
