
Inventory Coordinator

- Prepare and validate cycle counts, reports, and inventory adjustments, ensuring approvals are obtained as required.
- Monitor and analyze inventory balances, running reports daily to detect discrepancies, system errors, and irregularities.
- Identify, investigate, and report receiving, shipping, invoicing, and warehouse transfer errors, correcting issues promptly.
- Manage damaged product flow from origin to disposal, reporting details to Finance.
- Ensure accuracy in warehouse transfers, receipts from suppliers and distribution centers, and product availability updates to Supply Chain and Finance.
- Support QA by responding to hold/release requests, performing inspections, and assisting HACCP/QA Specialists with pallet tagging and supervision.
- Oversee warehouse organization by assigning pick face locations, maintaining bin labels, and creating/archiving labels and barcodes.
- Coordinate product movements for returns and special situations, serving as the central contact between Traffic, Order Processing, Shipping, and warehouse teams.
- Maintain digital and paper filing systems, prepare reports for Finance, support auditors with cycle counts and results, and manage document archiving for Iron Mountain storage.
- Provide daily direction to the Inventory Checker, monitor task completion, and actively participate in meetings on system errors, software/process changes, and product issues.
- 1–2 years of experience in distribution or inventory control.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer use; MS Office experience required.
- SAP knowledge or training considered an asset.
- Familiarity with office equipment.
- Strong multitasking and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Basic management abilities.
