We are looking for a highly experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience to contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The successful candidate will have strong design expertise and direct nuclear industry experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead civil/structural design engineering activities for nuclear infrastructure projects
- Prepare, develop, and review structural design specifications and documentation
- Perform structural analysis, calculations, and design for concrete and steel structures
- Provide technical guidance and act as a Subject Matter Expert
- Ensure compliance with nuclear industry codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of relevant structural design experience
- Direct experience in the nuclear industry
- Strong expertise in structural analysis and design (steel and reinforced concrete)
- Experience preparing detailed design specifications and reports
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., CSA, ACI, ASCE, nuclear-specific standards)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
