- Perform intermediate and advanced wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical scopes
- Operate and maintain a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment, including hydraulic systems, calibration tools, power tools, and turbine-specific equipment
- Lead by example on safety, proactively identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and reinforcing a no-compromise safety culture
- Troubleshoot and diagnose turbine systems using structured problem-solving methods and diagnostic tools
- Execute work independently while adhering to defined maintenance schedules, procedures, and customer requirements
- Support quality control activities and assist with audits or verification of work performed by less experienced technicians
- Mentor and support junior technicians, contributing to skills development and strong crew performance
- Interface professionally with customers on site, addressing routine questions and escalating complex issues as appropriate
- Complete technical reports, documentation, and required system entries accurately and on time
- Perform rescue operations and support emergency response activities as required
- Leadership expectation: This is not a heads-down role. Level 3 technicians are trusted field leaders
- Project variety: Exposure to multiple turbine platforms and scopes across North America

- Minimum three (3) years of technical wind industry experience and completion of a Wind Technician training program, OR three (3) years of hands-on experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical industrial environments
- Advanced troubleshooting capability with the ability to interpret schematics and train others
- Demonstrated proficiency with complex tools such as hydraulic rams, inductive heaters, and advanced diagnostic equipment
- Strong working knowledge of industrial safety practices, including energy isolation and risk mitigation
- Ability to collaborate effectively across crews, support change initiatives, and follow structured supervision
- Basic computer skills, including navigation of web-based systems and technical documentation
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to travel 100% and work overtime, including variable schedules, as project demands require
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs 60–125 meters in height
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Weight restriction of 260 lbs, required to ensure safe use of weight-rated equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a passport
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 18 years of age or older
