Commissionaires BC is currently looking for security professionals to work at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW). This position will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and positive experience of passengers, staff, contractors, and visitors. This positions requires a strong balance of security awareness and first-class customer service, acting as a professional and approachable presence through the airport.Shifts available:

Saturday & Sunday 2200 - 0600

Wage: $22.66/hourSome of your responsibilities include:

Interior and exterior patrols
Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
Access Control
CCTV Monitoring
Curbside traffic control
Cart collection
Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor

Your Must-Haves:

BC Security License
Clear criminal record with ability to obtain airport clearances: RAIC and AVOP
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
Excellent problem solving skills
Able to work under pressure
Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions

Your Nice-To-Haves:

Bylaw level 1
You have resided in Canada for the last five years
Hold Basic or Intermediate First Aid (OFA 1 or 2)
Moderate computer skills
