The Moncton Hospital ~ Moncton ~ Horizon Health Network ~ Health NetworkLanguage requirement:English EssentialSchedule:Subject to change due to operational requirementsJob Classification:Audiologist 1 (AU01)Job Classification Type:SHCPJOB PURPOSEThe Audiologist is responsible for providing assessment, consultation and rehabilitation services for individuals with auditory and/or vestibular disorders.QUALIFICATIONS

A Masters degree in Audiology.
Must be registered and a member in good standing with the Regulatory College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologist of New Brunswick (RCASLPNB) and eligible for membership with the Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Audiologist is responsible for:

Assess, plan, and provide therapy to individuals and groups
Document assessments, interventions, treatment plans, communication with the care team
Provide guidance and support to therapy assistants and other health care providers
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
Prepare and present information and education sessions
Provid mentoring and support for students
Participate in developing, maintaining and evaluating policies and procedures
Participate in developing and sharing information related to clinical skill sets, best practices and clinical guidelines
