VP, Treasury and Capital Management

- Lead capital and liquidity planning processes for Zurich Canada, including coordination of legal entity forecasts and stress scenarios
- Provide strategic recommendations on capital structure, remittances, reinsurance funding, and capital allocation
- Monitor and optimize liquidity buffers to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Group expectations
- Enhance the process for tracking treasury and liquidity metrics, including cash flow and collateral projections
- Partner with Group Treasury and the Risk function to align local practices with global capital management frameworks
- Drive legal entity capital and liquidity planning workstreams, including ORSA inputs
- Support reinsurance transactions and strategic initiatives from a capital and funding perspective
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Business Unit leaders to support strategic financial planning and capital optimization
- Prepare clear, insightful reporting and recommendations for the CFO, business unit leadership, and Zurich Group
- Bachelors Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 12 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Experience in insurance, financial services, treasury, or capital management functions
- Strong understanding of capital frameworks, solvency requirements, and liquidity management concepts
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex governance environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical financial concepts to executive audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- Prior experience working in or with regulated insurance entities
- Experience supporting capital planning, ORSA processes, or regulatory capital assessments
