Our culture celebrates diverse perspectives and supports your growth through intentional development, strong leadership, and opportunities to make a real difference.Job DescriptionOne of our most dynamic and exciting software teams is looking for a Senior Software Developer, to guide us in technology choices and architecture design as our department grows.Joining the “Digital Workflow” team, you will design and implement web-based applications to automate industrial machines - from simulating them in the Cloud, all the way to operating them on the shopfloor - including backend and databases, user interfaces, CI/CD pipeline, and everything in-between.You will get the chance to work with our robot systems (including robotic arms and three-axis machines) and the tablet that shop-floor operators use to control and interact with their equipment.As a Senior Software Developer, you will participate in the most critical tasks of our department: injecting velocity in the most important ones, problem-solving the most complex ones. You will collaborate closely with our team leads, product managers, QA developers and Technical Directors, and also provide mentorship to our more junior members.More specifically, you will :Participate in all aspects of the software lifecycle, from defining requirements, designing models, to implementing and testing, and finally, deployment and maintenance.Do hands on full stack web development (Typescript): implementing the back-end engine needed to interact with the existing Vention tech stack, as well as our graphical user interfaces that allow customers to interact with their industrial machine in a code-free way.Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all developed models and associated code.Design and lead crucial technical projects and initiatives across teams and departments.Work closely with leadership: software team leads, product managers, etc.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.QualificationsExperience with Typescript, Python, and with web development frameworks such as ReactExperience in designing responsive systems (embedded and cloud/web)Understanding of distributed system design and the related technical challengesA strong ownership of all aspects throughout the SDLC and beyondStrong sense of responsibility, to show ownership over full, end-to-end solutionsLove of new challenges and ability to work in fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationWhat We Offer
