- Project review + document support for CRA filings
- Review projects at the work-detail/activity level to identify and extract supporting reference documentation needed for CRA tax filings.
- Build and maintain working papers / working files that tie source documents to filing positions and calculations.
- Validate completeness/accuracy of supporting evidence; escalate gaps and risks.
- Document follow-ups, decisions, and assumptions; update working files accordingly.
- Provide guidance on what documentation is needed and why (in plain language).
- Act as a “process/system champion” for the workflow approach: testing, iteration, user guidance/training, and troubleshooting.
- Create analytical schedules (e.g., ratios, allocations, activity splits) to support positions where direct tagging is incomplete—ensuring the approach is supportable and repeatable.
- Follow prescribed internal program guidance and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Manage priorities independently and deliver quality outputs under tight deadlines.

- Ability to interpret CRA legislation and apply it to real-world project activities and documentation
- Understanding of tax accounting concepts and how they translate into provisions/schedules/filing support
- Comfort working within defined internal controls / program guidance and producing audit-ready support
- Strong ability to review, research, and analyze large volumes of information
- Build structured analytical schedules (allocations/ratios, reconciliations, exception analysis)
- Identify inconsistencies, assess impacts, recommend corrective actions, and document conclusions
- Strong document management capabilities (classification, retention mindset, version control, traceability)
- Knowledge of information security expectations for sensitive tax/contract/project data
- Ability to assemble complete, well-referenced files suitable for internal/external review
- Ability to develop automated workflows for intake, tracking, and completeness checking
- Comfort with business systems and computer applications; ability to test, troubleshoot, and improve tools
- Ability to create standard templates, trackers, and process aids; provide user guidance/training
- Strong written/oral communication: clarify requirements, request evidence, summarize findings
- Ability to work effectively with PMs and other stakeholders, including pushing for timely responses
- Ability to prepare clear reports / summaries / presentations of status, gaps, and decisions
