Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.About the EngagementAkkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services within a complex public-sector environment. The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to analyze business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions that align with Public Sector standards and methodologies.ScopeProvide end-to-end I&IT business analysis services for complex initiatives within a public-sector environmentElicit, analyze, document, and validate business, system, and data requirementsSupport business process analysis, re-engineering, and digital transformation initiativesAct as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.Assignment DeliverablesDocumented business, functional, and non-functional requirementsUse cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matricesProcess flows, swim-lane diagrams, and workflow modelsBusiness cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses.Expertise RequiredMust Have:Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, system, and data requirementsStrong expertise in business analysis techniques, including process mapping, Visio diagrams, and swim-lane modelsAbility to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT solutionsExperience with database analysis and SQLDemonstrated ability to lead requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviewsHands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOpsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.Nice to Have:Exposure to Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall project methodologiesKnowledge of AODA requirements and accessibility-by-design principles.Security ClearanceRequired.ImportantThis is a business-to-business engagement.
