Our client, a leading organization in the Burnaby area, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labor to join their dynamic team. As a General Labor, you will be an essential part of the installation and maintenance operations, supporting skilled technicians and ensuring the smooth execution of various projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: General Labor (heavy lifting)
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay Range: $25/hr
Shift: 9:00am to 12:00pmWhat's the Job?

Assist technicians with lifting, moving, and positioning equipment and materials safely and efficiently
Support installation, relocation, and decommissioning projects on-site
Follow directions from lead technicians and site contacts to ensure project success
Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote a safe work environment
Identify and report potential hazards and complete safety documentation, including Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs)

What's Needed?

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely, with support when required
Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow established procedures
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
Comfortable working in active environments with moving equipment and cables
