Location: Hybrid - Ontario (GTA focus)Our client, a Canadian digital services consultancy, is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth across their IT services portfolio. This is not a transactional sales role-it's about building long-term relationships, leading discovery conversations, and shaping complex, project-based solutions that help clients modernize, scale, and succeed.Your new role:In this leadership role, you will:- Develop and expand new client accounts through strategic networking and relationship building.
- Lead consultative sales cycles, uncovering client needs and presenting tailored solutions such as ERP migrations, application modernization, and strategic team extensions.
- Work closely with PMO, delivery, and marketing teams to qualify leads, shape proposals, and ensure seamless client engagement.
- Manage both project-based initiatives and embedded team opportunities, always focused on delivering value and long-term impact.
- Represent the company as a trusted business advisor to executive stakeholders.What we're looking for:- Proven success in IT services or consulting sales, with experience in complex, project-based engagements.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to navigate discovery phases and sell solutions-not transactions.
- Established network in the GTA/Ontario market.
- Track record of growing accounts through trust, strategic thinking, and long-term relationships.
- Ability to collaborate across delivery, marketing, and sales operations, working effectively with CRM and lead flow processes.
