- Provides high quality, on-time input to client projects. Assignments range in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions. May serve as project leader for small teams or work streams. Duties Include:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and SQL across diverse client environments.
- Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouses, pipelines, and semantic models.
- Lead the configuration and governance of Fabric workspaces, ensuring secure and scalable deployment across environments.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable data models, dashboards, and semantic layers that drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and optimize data pipelines, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide strategic guidance on BI best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing technical delivery with client expectations and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced certifications in Fabric is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and enterprise data architecture; experience with Microsoft Fabric is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, and Notebooks.
- Strong understanding of OneLake architecture, workspace identity, and role-based access control within Fabric.
- Familiarity with integrating Fabric with external systems like Azure Synapse, SQL Pools, and Dataverse.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance across Fabric workloads, including semantic model refreshes and pipeline execution.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
