Position Overview:Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a large, established Canadian organization to recruit a Senior Finance Strategy Manager . This newly created leadership opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in high-visibility, fast-paced environments and enjoys building structure, improving processes, and supporting enterprise-level decision-making.This role is designed for a strategic finance leader with strong experience in complex modeling, forecasting, business performance reporting, and long-range planning within a multi-location organization. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, providing analytical insight and financial guidance that supports operational priorities, strategic initiatives, and long-term growth planning.This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from a large enterprise level company or similarly sophisticated corporate finance environment who is looking for broad exposure, executive and board level visibility, and the opportunity to help shape an evolving finance function.The role is based in Manitoba and requires regular in-office presence. Candidates currently residing elsewhere in Canada are welcome to apply, with relocation support available for the successful candidate. Only candidates currently living in Canada will be considered.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic business decisions and scenario analysis
  • Build executive-level dashboards, KPI reporting frameworks, and performance scorecards
  • Prepare presentation materials and financial insights for senior leadership and board-level discussions
  • Analyze complex operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Support capital planning, strategic investment reviews, and business case development for major initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with operational leaders to align financial objectives with business strategy
  • Lead process improvements across budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting workflows
  • Establish scalable reporting tools and data visualization frameworks to improve decision support
  • Provide insight into business performance drivers, variance analysis, and profitability trends
  • Support enterprise-level strategic initiatives, including expansion opportunities and financial due diligence
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, strategic financial analysis, or business planning
  • Proven experience building sophisticated financial models within a complex, multi-site organization
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Experience working within a large enterprise level company or similarly structured IFRS reporting environment
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities required
  • Experience developing dashboards and management reporting tools using modern reporting platforms is considered an asset
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives such as capital allocation, acquisitions, or large-scale projects is considered an asset
  • Professional designation such as CPA, CFA, CBV required
  • Ability to travel occasionally with valid passport is required
