- Partner with the entire People & Culture Function and leaders across the business to gain an intimate understanding of the business, people needs, and opportunities to improve our Talent Acquisition programs, tools, practices, and systems.
- Lead the ongoing development, implementation, management and training of the company’s talent acquisition strategy, programs, tools, practices and systems.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand with input from the entire People & Culture Function and leaders across the business.
- Partner with the company’s marketing team to communicate the employer brand and work to further our company brand and presence as an employer of choice.
- Partner with external organizations and providers such as job boards to ensure we are leveraging technology and industry leading mediums to promote our employment opportunities, source candidates and attract top talent for the business.
- Execute recruitment activities for corporate functions and key roles across the company including actively sourcing candidates using tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Organize and provide training to those involved in the recruitment process to continually improve our talent acquisitions processes across the People & Culture function and business leaders to create a consistent candidate experience.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to members of the team performing talent acquisition activities.
- Lead the implementation and continual improvement of the company’s Applicant Tracking System and be the subject matter expert for the system. Collaborate with HRBP’s and business leaders to understand annual hiring requirements and support the development of an annual workforce hiring plan and strategy.
- Collaborate with HRBP’s and business leaders on the development and management of international recruitment strategies and activities.
- Collaborate with HRBP’s and business leaders on the overall development and management of our campus management program to ensure we have a strong employer presence across select academic institutions and are building a pipeline of talent through academic partnership and annual hiring of co-ops/interns and new grads.
- Provide regular reporting and updates on key metrics related to Talent Acquisition such as number of open positions, time to fill, sourcing tool utilization, job promotion spend and ROI, retention rates of new hires, and average length of time for each key step in our recruitment process. Other duties as assigned to support the success of our people and the business.
- 10+ years of professional Talent Acquisition experience
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Deep talent acquisition, employer branding, candidate sourcing, talent pipeline development, campus management, and applicant tracking system (ATS) experience gained from supporting companies with operations across Canada
- Experience supporting multiple business units within a company with operations spanning across multiple provincial/territory jurisdictions across Canada
- Prior experience actively sourcing candidates leveraging tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationship across the business
- Customer service centric style with ability to provide world class Human Resources services that delight internal and external customers.
- Prior recruitment agency experience considered an asset
- RPR designation considered an asset.
