
Senior Accountant, Order to Cash

- Strong ERP, CRM and BI experience in creating reports, extracting data and analyzing information to identify issues, trends and provide insights
- Prepare reporting to support external disclosures, mgmt. reporting, audit & month end close requirements
- Prepare journal entries and perform complex account reconciliations and complex analysis for assigned accounts including but not limited to deferred revenue, AFDA, and other various accruals.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for the OTC area. Identify, research, investigate, and problem-solve GL account discrepancies
- Prepare quarterly and yearly CECL reserve and related support calculations
- Perform flux and variance analysis of key order to cash related ledger accounts
- Assist in performing system testing and audits
- Contribute to the global monthly/quarterly close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Maintain strong, foundational relationships with business partners and accounting peers to address accounting and operational needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with multiple internal teams to help develop scalable software solutions to calculate, track and report key balances/metrices.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly review, and annual audit schedules, as well as compliance support for internal and external auditors. Understand accounting concepts and GAAP.
- Design, improve, automate and document processes
- Participate in adhoc projects as requested
- A Bachelor's degree related to accounting/finance or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and reporting and managing accounting policies and procedures
- Proven experience working in a team under pressure to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to communicate the “big picture”
- Confidence working in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced filters)
- Consideration for privacy and security obligations
- Must have strong critical thinking, problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency
- Experience building new capabilities and process optimization
