Under the guidance of the Regional Director, the Branch Representative champions the rights of Canadian performers working in recorded media, including TV, film, radio, and digital media. Working with the local Branch Council, they help deliver on council mandates while acting as the link between members and engagers. They administer collective agreements, resolve disputes and guide engagers in meeting their obligations. They lead union organizing efforts, perform high volume office administration and supervise staff. This role ensures our remembers voices are heard, valued, and protected.
