Location: Burlington
Start Date: ASAPReporting to the Fleet Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete/Ontario Redimix fleet of heavy duty trucks.This includes:
- Use of leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns, ordering required parts, removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components, as well as performing maintenance schedules.
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps and motors, and air brake systems are required.
- The ideal candidate will hold a 310T Mechanic License, or be a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice.
- Working on all systems of the ready mix truck, including engines, hydraulic pumps, motors and air brake systems, no two days will be the same.
- There will be some travel to other Dufferin Concrete plants so a valid driver's license is required.
- Your strong interpersonal skills and safety first approach will be a key to success in the role.
