You'll have the opportunity to drive various inventory management initiatives, while using your analytical skills and management systems expertise to optimize our inventory. Make a direct impact on the accuracy and efficiency of our operations, while working in a stimulating and progressive environment!Your role:
Ensure that the annual periodic count plan is on track by effectively utilizing periodic count resources, assigning work through warehouse management software, and maintaining control of locations where counts have been performed
Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and develop corrective action plans with the Operations team
Investigate store inventory claims and make necessary adjustments
Update weekly reports to track count progress and inventory accuracy
Contribute to regular periodic counts within the facility, as required
Update distribution center inventory to coordinate with supply chain, as required
Investigate any other distribution center inventory issues
Perform other duties as requested
What we're looking for:
2 years' experience in inventory management in a warehouse environment, an asset
Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS); experience with Blue Yonder a strong asset
Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Access/Excel
Ability to multi-task and adapt effectively to change
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and creatively solve complex problems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
