- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, management and debtors.
- Experience in banking or lending with a financial institution with a specialization in mortgages.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Be able to communicate effectively and connect with clients and stakeholders.
- Be able to work flexible hours in accordance with business needs (in office position).
- Be able to work well with time sensitive work and to be aware of critical deadlines.
- Previous work experience in insolvencies, credit counseling, or financial sales is an asset but not required.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients, over the phone or in person, to understand their financial situation and debt challenges.
- Debt Analysis: Analyze clients’ debts and financial status to develop personalized debt relief plans.
- Plan Implementation: Implement debt relief strategies, such as debt consolidation, settlement, or management plans.
- Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Documentation: Collect, maintain, and obtain detailed records of client interactions, set up agreements, and prepare client file.
- Client Education: Educate clients on financial management and strategies to avoid future debt issues.
- Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with clients to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- These responsibilities require strong analytical, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of financial regulations and debt management strategies.
