
Senior Tax Analyst

- Prepare, review, and file timely and accurate indirect tax returns (HST, GST) in applicable jurisdictions.
- Reconcile tax reports and general ledger accounts; resolve discrepancies with Finance and AP teams.
- Support tax audits, respond to notices, and provide documentation to tax authorities.
- Maintain and update tax rates, codes, and rules
- Monitor and interpret changes in indirect tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
- Assist in indirect tax planning, compliance strategies, and process automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new business initiatives, product rollouts, and system implementations to ensure proper tax treatment.
- Document processes and maintain up-to-date indirect tax policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or other tax-related certification preferred)
- 4-5+ years of experience in indirect tax compliance, preferably in a multi-jurisdictional environment
- Solid understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations
- Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
