Retail Lead - Eataly Don Mills

• Handles monetary transactions and performs advanced cashiering duties
• Provides a steady leadership presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees and vendors to ensure Eataly’s operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are met.
• Supports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team members
• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service
• Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise and ensures highest quality standards are met.
• Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department
• Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting
• Records shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed
• Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves employee or guest incidents
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• 1+ year of experience as a supervisor in a retail setting, with experience leading a retail team preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree from restaurant management or hospitality program preferred.
• Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical equations
• Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
