· Work in a safe and healthy work environmentThe Work You Will Do:As a Complex Care Nurse Lead you will work to support, mentor and train your team to meet the diverse needs of the clients, caregivers and nurses you serve in your communityAssessment DeliveryVisit new and existing clients, caregivers and nurses on a regular basis. This role is an active community position that requires regular home visits within the community. This role involves a high level of hands-on care, training and coaching including weekly onsite visits with clients and caregivers and nurses in the field.Leadership· Supervise, support and mentor field caregivers and nurses· Audit and provide regulatory compliance for provincial and in-house best practices· Visit clients and staff for in-person supervisory visits
· Staff engagement, coaching and support as requiredTraining & Development· Coordinate and provide training for field caregivers and nursesCommunity Care· Provide hands-on clinical/nursing care· Build client relationships
· Provide direct client care on an as-needed basisAdministration· Dedicated administrative requirements to be met on a weekly basis· This position will require approximately 70% Administrative and 30% Client-Facing requirementsQualificationsEducation
Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program; current RN registration in good standing with the provincial regulating body.
Current CPR certificationExperience
At least five years of recent experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities, as a Nursing Supervisor, preferably in a community setting. Strong track record in leading the development and evaluation of training programs; demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of people management and interpret company policies and procedures; experience in business development preferred.Other attributes and requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; ability to work independently and effectively lead a team; above average report writing and communication skills with both Field and Administrative employees; valid driver’s license and auto insurance, solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to clients as well as program development, implementation and evaluation. Clear police clearance, with vulnerable sector screening and a negative TB test are required.Bayshore is committed to a high quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients.
