If you’re ready to join our team of 2,300 diverse individuals, access competitive rewards and benefits, and be part of a greater movement - apply today!Your Role in Supporting Our Members:As a Community Business Lending Coordinator, you are responsible for the preparation of documents, maintenance of loans, funding and payouts of loans as well as working closely with the front facing sales teams and our approved solicitors. You’ll ensure all loan applications, renewals, and amendments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with established policies. You’ll regularly liaise with internal stakeholders and external legal partners to ensure documentation is complete, compliant, and delivered on time.This is a Permanent, Full-time role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Processing community business administration transactions in areas of funding, loan maintenance and payout in a timely manner, consistent with established standards and service levels, as well as checking diary and processing loan payments
  • Preparing accurate and timely security documentation for new internal loans and funding all approved loans including amendment, renewal and interest paid letters, and release of guarantors
  • Liaising with internal staff and external solicitors as they relate to document preparation, registrations, funding, etc
  • Preparing and processing Letters of Credit for Business Members (renewals of letters of credit, taking fees) and processing renewals for Personal Property Registry and Letters of Credit
  • Programming accurate set up of new and existing loans including auto reviews and proactively administering assigned loan applications and monitoring for completeness to facilitate timely funding of assigned loans consistent with members completion date, amending PAPs and taking renewal fees
  • Administering and preparing reports for internal and external users
  • Processing and administering renewal of loan maturities, draw requests and customer relationship management (CRM) requests
  • Applying organizational risk and compliance standards, policies, procedures, and controls to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate risk
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • High School Diploma
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in commercial lending and/or loan administration
  • Comfortable with MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity.
