- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent related experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project controls within heavy industrial, oil refinery, expansion, or turnaround/shutdown environments
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling methodologies
- Proven ability to manage complex brownfield project environments with frequent scope changes
- Demonstrated expertise in cost control, forecasting, earned value management, and progress reporting
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction methods, work sequencing, and industrial maintenance workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors, engineers, project managers, and field supervisors
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and evolving project priorities
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
- P6 certification, PMP, CCP, or equivalent professional designation
- Experience with large-scale refinery expansion projects or major industrial shutdowns/turnarounds
- Experience using cost management software or integrated project controls platforms
- Familiarity with progress measurement systems, productivity tracking, and field-level data collection tools
- Background in mechanical contracting or refinery maintenance contracting
- Experience developing dashboards or reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Knowledge of risk management practices including qualitative and quantitative risk analysis
- Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for all phases of mechanical construction, maintenance, and turnaround activities
- Integrate subcontractor schedules into a unified master schedule to ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables
- Monitor schedule performance, identify variances, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
- Lead cost control activities including budget development, forecasting, earned value analysis, and variance reporting
- Track project progress, productivity, and performance indicators to support accurate decision-making
- Prepare and deliver regular progress updates, dashboards, and analytical reports to project leadership and stakeholders
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, planners, and field teams to coordinate work sequencing and address constraints
- Anticipate risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to reduce schedule delays and cost impacts
- Maintain accurate documentation of schedule changes, cost movements, and project controls assumptions
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning, execution readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the development of work breakdown structures, coding structures, and project controls standards
- Ensure project controls processes align with industry best practices and contribute to consistent project delivery
