- Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- RN or RPN
- Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
- Home Support Level 2 or level 3 from a recognized curriculum
- Valid Developmental Support Worker Certificate
- Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse
- A valid driver's license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
- Meet Immunization requirements - MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid
- Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
- Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
- Availability to work days or evenings.
- This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
- Successfully completed an Ontario PSW training program on or after April 1, 2023, at a public-assisted college, private career college, district school board or Indigenous Institute that meets the 2022 program standard established by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities program standard
- Begin employment with a participating employer between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2026; and
- Commit to 12 months of employment at a full-time work schedule
