- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while balancing capacity, materials availability, and operational priorities.
- Create and manage work orders within the ERP system (e.g., Infor LN), ensuring accurate routing, material allocation, and production timelines.
- Coordinate closely with Supply Chain Management, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available to support planned production.
- Collaborate with Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and Quality to resolve scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and production issues.
- Monitor production progress, update schedules as required, and communicate changes to stakeholders to maintain alignment across operations and supply chain functions.
- Analyze demand, capacity, and material availability to balance production schedules and meet delivery commitments.
- Develop reporting tools or dashboards to track progress and identify potential bottlenecks in production planning.
- Gain in-depth experience working with ERP systems and production planning tools in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Develop cross-functional collaboration skills by partnering with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering.
- Enhance your problem-solving expertise by addressing real-world challenges in scheduling, capacity planning, and material optimization.
- 3–5+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms for work order management and production planning.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and planning tools for schedule tracking, reporting, and production analysis.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience creating and managing work orders, purchase requisitions, and production schedules within an ERP environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with Supply Chain, procurement, operations, and engineering teams to ensure production plans are achievable and materials are available.
- Familiarity with demand and capacity analysis to optimize production schedules.
- Knowledge of and compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and internal EHS policies.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
