What You'll Do
  • Optimize: Maintain, monitor, and tune databases to ensure strong performance and minimal downtime
  • Secure: Protect data through backups, disaster recovery, access controls, and security best practices
  • Migrate: Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations while ensuring system integrity
  • Resolve: Troubleshoot issues quickly to restore service and maintain reliability
  • Collaborate: Partner with IT teams and provide reporting, insights, and shared expertise
What You Offer
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on database administration experience
  • Platforms: Experience supporting on-premises and Azure SQL environments
  • Security: Strong knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and data protection practices
  • Automation: Ability to script and automate routine database tasks
