We're currently hiring multiple experienced Maintenance Technicians (multiple Millwrights and an Electrician) to support operations at our client's plant and packaging facility in Langley. - Perform daily maintenance tasks including adjusting, installing, optimizing, and repairing a wide range of production equipment.
- Set up and commission new or refurbished machinery.
- Read and interpret complex technical manuals and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and low-voltage controls.
- Identify and implement improvements to food processing machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Complete work orders from start to finish and maintain accurate records.
- Support your teammates in the maintenance department when needed.
- Travel to other locations for assessments or repairs as required.
- Red Seal Millwright or Industrial Electrician certification
- 3+ years of experience within a relevant production and/or packaging environment.
- Solid understanding of GMP, HACCP, CCP, Lean, 5S, SOP, TPM, WHMIS principles.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Certifications in Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Aerial Platform are assets.
- Familiarity with PLCs, thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasound is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
