This postion is located in Hawkesbury or Kingston, Ontario.We’re looking for an Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) to join a respected professional services firm specializing in land surveying and geomatics.
Our client supports a variety of land development, infrastructure, and construction projects, working closely with developers, engineering firms, municipalities, and construction partners to provide accurate surveying solutions throughout all stages of project development.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Ontario Land Surveyor who is looking to take on diverse projects and grow within a stable and well-regarded organization in the surveying and geomatics sector.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct and oversee legal, boundary, and construction surveys
  • Prepare and certify survey plans, reports, and legal documentation
  • Review survey data and drawings to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with engineers, developers, municipalities, and project stakeholders
  • Supervise field crews and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Analyze field data and maintain accurate survey records and documentation
  • Provide technical expertise on surveying methods, standards, and regulations
  • Support project planning and ensure survey deliverables meet project timelines
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners
The Successful Candidate Has
  • Accredited Ontario Land Surveyors License (OLS)
  • 5+ years of professional land surveying experience
  • Experience with survey plans, legal descriptions, and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with modern surveying technology and geomatics tools
  • Ability to manage projects and supervise field teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
