Working out of our Calgary office and reporting to the Director, Commercial Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate daily / monthly reporting of positions recorded within the RightAngle ETRM system for Plains’ Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) division. This is a fast-paced and deadline-driven role that requires superb organizational skills and the ability to pivot focus frequently throughout the day.Plains provides a top tier group benefit plan for fixed-term employees and their eligible dependents. Lead, train, and develop a team of position management professionals.
Manage timely and accurate daily / monthly reporting of positions recorded within RightAngle.
Review end of day (and month) volumetric reporting.
Liaise with Marketing, Risk, Invoicing, and Payable team members to resolve and eliminate issues impacting exposure and settlements.
Prepare and review key SOX reporting.
Execute ad hoc analytical assignments and reporting as required.
Assist in advancing IS solutions for RightAngle.
Analyze logistical data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting
Working knowledge of and experience with RightAngle ETRM system
Detail oriented with very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven success in building relationships and working in a team environment
In possession of a sense of urgency and accountability, with the ability to respond to tight deadline requirements
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced/expert Excel skills
Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks
