- Support inventory accuracy by matching and verifying order manifests, signed PODs, invoices, and receiving reports against purchase orders.
- Verify pricing, quantities, PLU codes, and product descriptions to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Enter and validate shipments, cost adjustments, and quantity adjustments within the Farm Boy warehouse management system.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies in a timely, collaborative manner.
- Process invoices in Sage 300 with accurate general ledger coding.
- Support with reconciling inventory activity between the Farm Boy WMS and the general ledger in Sage 300, identifying and resolving variances.
- Monitor the timely flow of warehouse documentation, supporting accurate and efficient processing.
- Coordinate and apply inventory cycle counts, working with warehouse teams on recounts, adjustments, and completion communication.
- Prepare, sort, and distribute intercompany shipment claims for review and approval, processing accepted and denied claims accordingly.
- Collaborate with Finance team members across divisions to support shared goals and deliverables.
- Support overall Finance team success by undertaking additional responsibilities as required.
- A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
- Enrolled in post-secondary education in Business or Accounting.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving, with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high volume, deadline driven environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A customer focused mindset with an understanding of service expectations and deadlines.
- The ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and focus.
- A high level of respect for confidentiality and data integrity.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Sage 300.
- Retail experience considered an asset.
- Thrive in a fast paced setting that that involves extended periods of sitting, repetitive movement or tasks, frequent computer use that may cause eye strain, and working amid open-office noise and interruptions.
- Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
