- Prepare monthly fund reconciliations and financial statements
- Assist in budget development, monitoring, and variance analysis
- Ensure program funds and budgets comply with policies and external funding requirements
- Provide financial data analysis for decision making and strategic planning
- Process purchase orders, invoices, accounts receivable, payment receipts, and travel expense claims
- Support payroll related document processing and reconciliations
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and adherence to procedures
- Maintain effective financial recordkeeping, including journal vouchers, accruals, credit card transactions, and vendor invoices
- Review, document, and improve financial business processes to enhance efficiency
- Work closely with staff, and external stakeholders to support financial operations
- Provide guidance on financial procedures and budgetary practices
- A relevant university degree (e.g., accounting, finance, business administration
- CPA designation
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial or administrative
- Preparing financial reports using advanced Excel and standard reporting tools
- Working with institutional finance and HR systems (e.g., UniFi, About-US) is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Effective communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with competing priorities
