Volunteer PositionCrohn's & Colitis Members (positions below).Make a difference in the community spreading awareness about IBD within the Kingston Community, spearheading unique initiatives with a close-knit community. Chairs gain experience organizing and executing events in a collaborative manner, learning to develop the unique nature to IBD and help make a difference in the community of individuals who struggle with IBD.Eligible candidates must have paid the Arts & Science Undergraduate Membership Fee.This application will remain open until September 12th at 4pm.Positions Available:
Events Director (2)
Help with the logistical planning of club events (e.g. room bookings)
Help foster club engagement among members and brainstorm creative ideas that will help with this process
Attend club meetings and events
Marketing Director (2)
Advertise club events and raise awareness for Crohn's & Colitis through social media platforms (e.g. Instagram account) and word of mouth
Design posters and other relevant marketing materials
Attend club meetings and events
Outreach & Sponsorship Director (3)
Develop and manage sponsorship strategies by identifying potential sponsors and securing partnerships.
Foster strategic partnerships with other clubs.
Time Commitment and Responsibilities:An approximately 8-month term from September 2025 to April 2026 with a time commitment of 2-3 hours per week
Attend committee meetings and events
Work within sub-committees to organize event planning and marketing
