This role focuses on ensuring guest requests are delivered in a timely manner, and Hosts and products are moved as needed to each building on the resort.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides daily stocking of all housekeeping storage areasLaundry management can include, but is not limited to: Pick-up Service, Laundry Sorting, Offloading Clean Linen, Washing as Needed, and Packing OrdersMoves Hosts around the resort as neededCommunicate with multiple departments via radioMaintains equipment in a clean and proper working order, reporting any concernsEnsures the well-being of our guests and Hosts by being alert to and reporting potential hazardsModels all Deerhurst Resort Standards while caring for guests, co-workers and ownersResponds to direct guest requests in an empathetic and timely mannerEnsures communication of maintenance issues in a timely mannerCompletes all other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Guest oriented with a sincere, helpful, caring and friendly personalityAble to take initiative within given guidelinesPays precise attention to detail, order and cleanlinessTime and priority managementWorks well under pressureMaintains flexibility and professionalism at all timesPHYSICAL ASPECTS OF POSITION (include but are not limited to):Able to move up and down stairs frequentlyPhysically fit and able to bend, push, pull and lift continuously throughout the dayAble to occasionally work outdoors in seasonal temperaturesAble to lift, bend, carry and move constantly 11 to 40 pounds, frequently 50 to 75 poundsVisa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in CanadaThe above job description is not intended to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills or efforts associated with or expected of the role, but are intended to accurately reflect principal job elements.
