We’re looking for someone who shares our values and is ready to lead with purpose and positivity.The Career.As the Wellness Care Supervisor, you’ll report to the Wellness Manager and play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our Community Members. You’ll supervise and support our Personal Support Workers (PSWs), coordinate care services, and help maintain a positive, collaborative, and compliant environment.You’ll also step in as needed to support daily operations, provide direct care, and lead wellness initiatives. This is a dynamic role that blends leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for people.What You’ll Be Doing:Leadership & Team Support
Mentor and support PSWs and Wellness Team Members
Coordinate schedules and ensure appropriate staffing
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Provide shift coverage and leadership in the absence of the Wellness Manager
Care Coordination
Develop and oversee individualized care plans
Conduct wellness assessments and care conferences
Liaise with families and healthcare providers
Manage prescriber orders and ensure accurate documentation
Operations & Compliance
Administer medications and support emergency response
Maintain compliance with the Retirement Homes Act and V!VA policies
Lead infection prevention and fall prevention programs
Participate in audits, quality improvement, and wellness meetings
Health & Safety
Promote a safe and healthy environment for all
Respond to changes in resident behavior and initiate appropriate actions
Participate in emergency drills and maintain readiness
What You Bring:
RPN license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
5+ years of nursing experience in senior care
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
CPR certification and recent Vulnerable Sector Screening
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
