- Test and monitor concrete and aggregate quality for the area and provide monthly reports to quality control team.
- Implement programs and processes to ensure compliance of all products with relevant Codes, Standards, and Specifications.
- Implement Amrize Quality Program, including sampling, testing, reporting and follow up for all products as determined for each site of responsibility.
- Record, monitor and communicate concrete performance with key stakeholders; investigate variances from Plan and establish corrective actions.
- Perform concrete lab trials for new mixes and/or products and utilize Quadrel and Command software.
- Participate in Quality Audits, including the development and implementation of Action Plans for Quality Improvement.
- Provide expert customer support, field sales support, and technical product expertise to sales, dispatch, and operations.
- Liaise with customers to ensure acceptable product performance and promote VAP Products in partnership with the VAP rep.
- Execute Job Hazard Analyses for QC Tasks and implement Lab/QC Safety Improvement Plans.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
- Education: College Student in Civil, Engineering, Technology or similar.
- Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
