OPW is part of the Clean Energy & Fueling segment of Dover (NYSE: DOV).This position would requires Manual Machining experience and interested in learning CNC programing and operation of CNC Lathes and Mill.Responsibilities:
  • Develop expertise in product knowledge
  • Responsible for accurate machining of high quality machined parts.
  • Ability to read Micrometers, Calipers and other machinist measuring tools.
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
  • Daily meetings with Production leader to keep updated on manufacturing issues.
Job RequirementsEducation/Experience:Required to have a High School Diploma or EquivalentRegistered or willing to register into Machinist Apprentice programExcellent verbal skills to communicate with Co-workers and supervisors regarding technical issues. Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications.Strong skills and working knowledgeExperience with Mazatrol (Preferred but not required)Mathematical Skills:Strong mathematical skills to perform and understand machinist calculations as it relates to materials as well as a basic mechanical aptitude.Attitude:Must display a positive attitude in dealing with supervisors and co-workersHave open lines of communication with team members.
