We are looking for a costing technician, reporting to the Finance Manager – Costing and consolidation, to have both hands on the wheel to execute the standard costing of BRP. As part of your role, you will contribute to BRP by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial standard costing transactionsYOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Execute the standard costing in SAP (costing runs).Analyze the month-end variances and provide the insights to correct the BOM/prices if needed.Perform the costing internal controls to be SOX compliantSupport the costing team to get or update the BOM/Prices data used for different analysisCollaborate with the Engineering, Production and Procurement teams to understand the cost variances.Master the costing systems at BRP (SAP ECC + SAP S4)YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:College diploma in accounting or financeMinimum of 1-3 years of pertinent experienceProficiency in French and English (spoken and written) in order to process, consolidate, and explain financial data and information for our international entitiesAdvanced skills in Excel and SAPExcellent ability to manage priorities and work in a teamWorking method focused on meticulousness and rigorDo you have other qualifications?
