Job Posting: Truck Driver- Class 1 & Class 3 DriversLocation: Merritt, BCCompany:LNSS is a full-service civil construction and industrial services group with job sites across Western Canada. We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our growing team and support a variety of upcoming projects.Position Overview:We are looking for safety-conscious and reliable drivers to operate a range of trucks including dump trucks, plow trucks, and water trucks. The successful candidates will transport materials to and from job sites, perform routine inspections, and support safe site operations. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to safety in all conditions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dump trucks, water trucks, plow trucks (Class 3), and a variety of configurations including tandem, tridem axle, and pup trailers (Class 1).
  • Transport aggregate and materials to and from work sites in compliance with local laws and safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.
  • Complete daily logs (ELD), inspection reports, and any required incident/maintenance documentation.
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance such as greasing and washing vehicles.
  • Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, and site cleanup.
  • Maintain clean and hazard-free work zones.
  • Represent Infracon and all stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties to support overall site operations.
Qualifications:
  • Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract (depending on position).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy trucks (e.g., dump trucks, water trucks, plowtrucks).
  • Experience hauling aggregate and working with tandem/tridem/pup trailers (Class 1preferred).
  • Mechanical aptitude to identify and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.

Safety Requirements:
  • Must supply own basic PPE: steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, hardhat, and safety glasses.Infracon will provide specialized PPE as needed.
  • Must be willing to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing as required.
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, CSTS) are considered an asset.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, with exposure to dust, uneven terrain, and physical labor. Drivers must be able to:
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, and climb ladders/platforms.
  • Work at heights from stationary platforms.
  • Lift and carry loads of 60–80 lbs above shoulder height.
