Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleReporting to the general supervisor, process, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of all process areas.   • Be responsible for planning, coordinating and scheduling process operations and project tasks in order to meet production requirements.
  • Identify and develop continual improvement projects to support the needs of the operation.
  • Supervise process operators and ensure all process areas are operating in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Facilitate process circuit training process team members.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to develop a high performing team.
  • Operate process circuits according to our procedures and guidelines, including the line patrol, water treatment, and central control room.
  • Work closely with supervisors from various departments to ensure integration of plans across all site and corporate departments.
Required:
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Seven years of relevant work experience in process positions
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to give and receive honest feedback
  • Previous working experience using SAP and process control systems
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
Recommended:
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Level 1 wastewater treatment certification
  • Level 1 and level 2 potable water treatment
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA
  • Process technician certification
