- Propose, design, electrical, controls and manufacturing execution systems in packaging department.
- Program, Modify, and Update PLC and HMI systems for packaging equipment.
- Direct scheduled maintenance activities on electrical panels, motor centers, and instrumentation to ensure machines continuous operation.
- Install, Wire, and Test new electrical control panels, components, and machinery.
- Lead electrical and instrument projects in packaging department.
- Read and Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain electrical drawings, instrumentation manuals and PLC/HMI program backup.
- Ensure all work follows OSHA, ANSI, and site-specific safety regulations.
- Provide operation, maintenance and technical support/training to production and maintenance personnel.
- Work closely with production operators and maintenance technicians to improve performances of packaging and refinery departments
- 5+ years electrical controls and instrumentation experience in packaging machinery required.
- Associate's degree in electronic/electrical technology, obtains electrician certificate 309A or 442A.

- Demonstrated knowledge and or programming skills of the following: Manufacturing execution system (Wonderware System Platform & InTouch), Allen Bradley PLC systems (PLC5, SLC500, and ControlLogix) and associated I/O systems, Allen Bradley HMIs (Panelview and Panelview plus 6/7 terminals), Allen Bradley VFDs / Soft Starters / Servos, Allen Bradley Centerline MCCs, process instrumentation (valves, transmitters); Modicon PLCs; Fanuc Robot.
- Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to work effectively with peers, plant operating staff, and other engineering resources.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and quickly implement their strategy to minimize machinery failures.
- Strong project and time management skills and demonstrated ability to complete projects in a timely manner within budget.
- Willingness to work in weekends and be on-call for emergency breakdowns.
