Senior Property Manager – Commercial & Retail Portfolio Toronto (Midtown / North York)Are you a hands-on, commercially savvy Property Manager who thrives on ownership, tenant relationships, and operational excellence?We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected Toronto-based real estate owner/developer to appoint a Senior Property Manager to lead the day-to-day management of a diverse commercial and retail portfolio across the GTA.Based from the company’s corporate head office in Midtown / North York, this role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative in-house team that values initiative, accountability, and delivering an exceptional tenant experience.The Opportunity As Senior Property Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for your portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for tenants while ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.
This is a true operations-focused role: you’ll be regularly on site, managing service providers, resolving issues decisively, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and internal stakeholders. With dedicated in-house property accounting support, you can stay focused on what you do best , running great buildings and keeping tenants satisfied.
You’ll report directly to senior leadership and be trusted to take ownership, make decisions, and proactively manage your portfolio.Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of a commercial and retail portfolio across the GTA and surrounding areas
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high property standards are consistently maintained
Manage maintenance, repairs, and service contracts with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with tenants, responding promptly to requests and issues
Coordinate with internal construction and project teams on tenant build-outs and capital work
Partner closely with the in-house property accounting team on budgets, recoveries, and financial reporting
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Provide clear, concise reporting to senior leadership on operations, tenant matters, and portfolio performance
