- Project Leadership: Lead project planning, defining scope, developing detailed schedules, and establishing budgets in collaboration with clients, engineers, and leadership.
- Contractor Management: Manage the full contractor lifecycle, including selection, contract negotiation, and supervision to ensure work adheres to quality standards and specifications.
- Budget & Schedule Oversight: Proactively manage project risks, including budget deviations, schedule delays, and on-site emergencies, ensuring all safety standards and codes are met.
- Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of communication, providing regular project updates and budget reports to internal teams and executive leadership.
- Relationship Management: Foster strong working relationships with internal cross-functional teams, contractors, and other external partners.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- ยท Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Solid background in electrical engineering, with experience in medium and low voltage power supply and distribution systems.
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and architectural/engineering drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; able to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work flexibly and collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related project management software.
- Must be able to traverse all areas of a construction site in various weather conditions.
- Ability to travel as required for projects.
- Must be on-call to respond to project emergencies, delays, or to coordinate with overseas teams outside of standard business hours.
