Your Opportunity:Based out of the Vegreville EMS Station. Daily operational field management of pre-hospital care, patient transfer services and special operations. Planning, allocating and managing physical and human resources and assessing resource requirements to meet the greatest needs in service delivery. Promoting innovative practice and quality improvement to enhance service provision consistent with regional and provincial objectives. The safety performance of the staff and the development and implementation of mitigation strategies related to work-related lost time events. Communication to staff related to corporate, departmental and branch operations, ensuring staff have the information to safely and effectively perform required tasks. Required Qualifications:Graduate of an Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) approved program and registered with The Alberta College of Paramedics, and a member in good standing. A Minimum of 5 years in an Emergency Service role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Valid Alberta Class 4 Operators license with no more than 6 demerits.

A clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Preferred Qualifications:An undergraduate or graduate degree in management, health care administration, business or leadership is preferred. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
